Abstract

According to educators in the twenty-first century, technology can be a useful instrument for teaching the next generation and facilitating the achievement of learning objectives. Digital storytelling has demonstrated its promise as an effective teaching and learning medium that can engage both teachers and students. Students and teachers can benefit from using digital stories. Teachers can create digital storytelling to generate interest and engagement for students of the new technology. Teachers can convey conceptual knowledge in a more comprehensible manner by using digital storytelling. Students can learn the importance of subjective language from digital stories, which also provide them the chance to experiment with other ways of analyzing or responding. These narratives have the power to ignite the emotions of students and inspire them to study disciplines they are enthusiastic about. Teaching and learning the English language through digital storytelling is a creative method which can enhance the self-confidence of students. As a pedagogical tool, it encourages student participation in the learning process and assists the instructor in igniting and guiding the creativity of students. Digital storytelling is a great technique for creating a new environment where students can learn the English language. The researcher's goal in this study is to learn how digital storytelling is being used in the classroom and how students perceive it. Young students can be effectively introduced to reading, writing, and digital literacy through digital storytelling. Students of all skill levels are able to improve and enhance their writing abilities through the process of creating a digital story.
